I agree.  I just feel after Caves and Cliffs sometime, we need a cooking update. More options for placing food on tables, more cooking options. Instead of wheat to bread, make it wheat to flour to bread. Little things that could make it more fun to cook.

They could also introduce new villager professions such as the Candy Maker, Baker and the Candlestick Maker (Because, you know, the Butcher is already there. ;) )

I agree with the idea of more and improved cooking recipes.  One that I thought about was making better use of under-used or unused items to make food.  Such as sweet berries.  Only current use is for feeding foxes and eating raw.

Create berry cobbler using berries, flour (made from wheat with a mill stone), milk, eggs and sugar.  Craft these ingredients to make raw or uncooked cobbler which must then be baked for finished product.  This could even be a sort of super food that give temporary speed boost or something.

I disagree with having food rot.  Not all players care for this aspect (cooking etc.) of the game, and if you are away from your base for extended periods exploring, it would not be practical.

    Just my 2 cents.

    thanks.

I think that this is a great idea because if there is like a oven and a stove and other cooking things it will add another fun aspect to minecraft not saying that it needs it.
