Toggle On/Off Recipe book (default Setting)

A Toggle Switch for the Recipe Book in the settings would be nice. 

There is a current issue with the recipe book mainly found on bedrock edition. This being with how it defaults to. 

My idea is to have a setting switch that allows for your recipe book to be default opened or closed. Allowing players who like to manual craft without having the recipe book open and having to scroll all the way to the right side of the screen to get to your items. 

I've always had issues with this mainly on xbox/Consoles. Being that when ever you first open the recipe book your console cursor auto snaps to the recipe book items which in turn causes blocks/items to insert into the crafting grid. This has not sit well with me because everytime i go to craft i have to take blocks out of the grid before i go craft. Which also brings up to the point where the recipe book will reopen itself after a number of inventory/crafting ui is brought up.

This Default switch would be a crowd pleasure for those who want to have the recipe book open and those who dont.

    Seconding this. I mostly play in Creative and would love to turn off the recipe book so I don't constantly get "New Recipes Unlocked!" popping up when I pull out a block I haven't used before.

    Heck, having the book off by default in Creative Mode would be nice.

    They replaced the clear hotbar button with the select recipe button and now I can't clear my hotbar

    The spot for it is inconvenient too. I'll accidently click on it while moving items or my mouse. Its very annoying in a small window because sometimes it will just take up the whole screen and you cant click the book again because it blocks the inventory. Why can't it just be moved somewhere else?
