As with the cave update the ravines will need one. with the new generation of caves ravines can be harmed massively! so i think while in caves you can finds water flowing down into a whole with carzy rock formations and inproved with stone slabs and stairs. just like the drip stone cave stalagmites (sorry if its worng) should be on ceiling. maybe as well silverfish and mossy coverd stone (not cobblestone) should be found here.
When spawning in on the overworld the should have broken or fixed brigeds crossing them. They can have an new kind of grass what if stood on for too long will crumble. these should be rugged and dangerous, very deep or very short. maybe artifacts and digsites will be here and ruins (the ones under water but not flooded and tweeked to seem more dusty and carved out of stone).
