When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Cobalt/Waterloggable Redstone

This is a simple addition add a new cobalt ore, (or don't I just got this idea from the rumors of cobalt being added from the village and pillage update texture thing)

The initial idea is to just add redstone that can be waterlogged, maybe just edit redstone to where it can become waterloggable or just add a new type entirely, as an excuse to add new ores for the caves and cliffs update

Maybe cobalt can take a different set of signals than redstone, and can be mixed with redstone dust to get dual signal connection blocks that can later be split separately to create more creative and compact redstone builds.
