Yes, the quest 2 will also be In the hands of more people bc of its 299.99 price tag. If a mod team can do it, Then I’m sure mojang can do it.

sign this one https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360043618132--Availability-Oculus-Quest?input_string=Oculus they could port minecraft to the quest and it would work with quest 2

Quest games work for Quest 2 its the same hardware but Quest 2 has better specs, so there is no point in changing the subject to oculus quest 2 availability.

As the GearVR version has been sunset, please bring Bedrock to Oculus Quest platforms! The ability to play with my friends in VR would be much appreciated, and would make for good streaming content!

I would really like to play Minecraft in a more immersive experience, and it feels a shame that the VR experiences are locked down to Windows platforms at this time, when both dedicated mobile VR platforms such as the Quest & Quest 2, and powerful mobile devices capable of higher quality "Cardboard style" VR (such as the last few iPhones), exist and are capable of running existing Minecraft (Bedrock) versions!

Minecraft VR is an essential experience as there's no other a like, and I find it really odd that not Microsoft nor Oculus seems to have an interest to push it onto the Oculus Quest platform. Not only is there a great amount of money to be made with the accesibility of the Quest, but as this is such an essential experience, Oculus should try and persuade Microsoft into pushing it onto the Quest platform.

The Oculus Quest would really open up to a much wider community, and sales would increase a lot I presuppose.

I would be on minecraft every day if it was on the quest. The fact that I cant use virtual desktop and am forced to use vivecraft if i want to play wirelessly(to many steps dont want it if im doing modded minecraft i want muh mods not just the vr mod and its a hassle) is a pain in the but. I havent played minecraft in forever because i just want to play it in vr this really needs a port asap, i would love to join my other friends in vr in the minecraft world

I’m a HUGE Minecraft fan. I play it all the time. I just got my Quest 2 and absolutely love it. Now all I want is to play Minecraft on it and build my creations with my own two hands! I would pay lots of money for this. I love VR and so happy I can afford it now. If the tech keeps getting better with better games (like Minecraft!) I will be a longtime VR player.

I agree. The laptop I currently have can barely run Minecraft java edition, can’t use oculus link, and Minecraft bedrock on the oculus quest would be a lot easier than using java edition with mods.

I have 4 kids. My 2 oldest live really far away, and we only get to see them a few times a year. One thing we all have in common is our love for this block game called Minecraft. If Bedrock was officially available on the Quest 2, I would buy several devices, copies of Minecraft, and a Realm subscription tier capable of supporting my whole family.

Imagine if proximity chat was added, this would allow families and friends to spend time together and build worlds together. Imagine college students spending time with their siblings, parents, and friends back home on a regular basis. But even thinking about my son and I who play together at home, how much higher quality this time together could be even in the same room. I can also imagine Realms subscriptions would see a major rise as well, if this was heavily advertised, and increase the overall player base again.

I believe Mojang / Microsoft is grossly underestimating the impact Minecraft could have on this platform. The Quest 2 would not only be the peak of Minecraft immersion and connectivity with friends and loved ones, but would have the best price to performance proposition of any platform, *including* non-VR. Compare this to anything requiring a gaming PC or console. Not only are those inaccessible to most people for the cost alone, but then only a small percentage of those have the time, patience, and technical skill to get the setup working. Certainly my 12 year old would be able to do the Quest, but not a gaming PC.

Microsoft would be fools to not add Bedrock Minecraft to the Quest 2 version. Minecraft is literally the only game I play, since I suck at everything else. Plus, I'm just getting tired of a lot of other games as well and having this version on the Quest 2 would be so incredible... Let us swing the sword and the pickaxe like you would in Vivecraft too.

Minecraft was one of the main reasons why I bought a Nintendo Switch, so I could take it with me when I leave. The amount of money they would make on this is a TON! I would even buy the game again, just to have it on the Quest 2
