Use for the dragon egg

If you dropped the ender dragon egg into an end crystal the egg would hatch and you would have your very own pet dragon. Then you could craft a saddle for it with three normal saddles, two eyes of ender and 4 ender pearls. The saddle would have room for three people because it was made with three saddles. The dragon would eat raw meat to regenerate and if you had raw meat in your hand it would follow you even if you told it to stay. It would be a lot like a dog because you can tell it to sit and if you attack something it will attack it too. It would have the same health and powers as an ender dragon so it would be a great way to get dragons breath. Every day there could be a very small chance for it to lay an egg if it is a female dragon and there is a male one close to it. The male ones would be slightly larger than the normal ender dragon and the female tameable ender dragons. If you smelted the dragon egg it would turn into an ender omelet that would give you positive effects when you ate it as well as completely filling up your hunger bar immediately.
