The dripstone caves have opened the remarkable concept of stalactite traps, and yet the chances of blocks actually breaking are slim. Why limit this threat to maps and mini games? enter the dripstone vault. At the end of a long hallway is a room packed with valuables, but the hallway is the home of a gauntlet of traps that use dripstone as the inflictor of damage.
Players may be tempted to sprint to the room, but doing so would cause them to trigger a concealed tripwire, one of many in the hallway, that would activate a row of pistons and drop a 3x4 folly of dripstone onto the player, dealing heavy damage. Alternatively, the tripwires would cause the floor to open up in front of them, and if they didn't stop in time, they would plunge into a pit of dripstone. Since there would be a bunch of these traps, a sprinting player would not survive. Players instead would instead carefully dodge the tripwires, and upon making it to then end they would be treated to some decent loot. Copper, a few amethyst shards, even horse armor, saddles, and diamonds await the survivors of this hallway of traps. Those who are careful walk away with their lives, as well as some good loot. Those who are rash are impaled upon the dripstone.
