The adorable proteles.

The proteles is a very adorable species of hyena that instead of eating meat, eats insects, that could mean that they wouldn't hurt anyone, they would be peaceful with the player, but the only problem is that the proteles eat insects and that obviously ruin the crops since they also hunt bees.
Once they are domesticated they will not eat more bees, the player will only have to make a bed for the proteles to walk around a perimeter of 40 cubes away from his bed, they will not be a common pet, you cannot travel with them but they will have the house protected from spiders or insects.
They would live in the savanna without groups because they are solitary animals.
As the player cannot make them rest because they rest when they want, they would only play with the player's pets or villagers.
Another fact, they are nocturnal so they would sleep during the day.
