Echoes from Bone blocks and charcoal blocks!

I want to see echoes from the blocks that may be hollow in the inside like the bone blocks and charcoal blocks when the Caves&Cliffs update is out for a way to redirect or confuse the new skulk mobs! I think the dev’s all ready had this idea but I’m putting it out there that it would be a grate idea.

  How would this even be implemented? How would a sound know it is meant to echo? In what direction would it echo?
