Rainbow

When it's raining and then it stops, there can be a rainbow on the sky and on the place where the rainbow finishes can be a treasure.

    Rainbow after thunderstorm

    This should be one of the rarest events in the game.
    Every time a thunderstorm ends there will be a really small chance of a rainbow appearing in the simulated area. You must go through the thunderstorm entirely until it ends, if you sleep to skip it this event will lost its chances to trigger.
    When a rainbow appears it will be there for a limited amount of time (game ticks). One of its ends will have a chest with valuable loot. The other end will have a chest but it will be empty. The side that has the loot will be chosen at random.
    When you close or break one of the chests the rainbow will vanish and the chests will be deleted with all of their contents (if any). This means that you can only visit one of the sides and you get only one chance to find the loot.

    In multiplayer, if there are at least 1 player inside the same chunk as both of the chests the rainbow will vanish instantly. This means that if all the players of a world are going to the rainbow they must visit the same side, otherwise it will dissapear.

    The rainbow can be made out of particles in a way similar to the fireworks or maybe it can be implemented in a way similar to the clouds generation.

    I think this can be a really awesome and fun addition to Minecraft that will make us, the players, more aware of the weather and will keep us excited and expectating while working in other projects or by just playing the game no matter the way you enjoy it.
