Giant Bats (Ridable)

With the new cave update, and the GIANT large ceiling caves imagine GIANT bats! I think giant bats could work in multiple ways, it could either be a completely new mob, or it could be an "evolution" of the current bat, it would give them purpose. With the new plants in the cave update, maybe you could tame bats with these plants, and then your tamed bat could start to grow to the point where you could saddle it! Imagine flying around these giant caverns on a bat! Amazing. The other option of course could be you find them in large caves and tame them as giant bats. Maybe there could even be a variation found in the deep dark which would be hostile. If you killed these giant bats you get a chance to collect giant bat wings, if you had two, you could use them to create a set of wings, like elytra, but you would have to continuously click your jump button to "flap" the wings, instead of gliding with the elytra. Whatcha think? I love bats I would love it!

    Interesting. In order to balance it, because mojang doesn't want flying rideable mobs, maybe the bat would kick you off if the light level is too bright, and fly away. That way, you can only use it in short stretches, or in carefully made tunnels that don't allow any light, which have their own hazards. That way it is much harder to fly long distances, and still not as good as elytra. In response to the idea of killing them for their wings, it might be too farmable, but what if when they run out of durability, they actually break, unlike elytra? You can't repair them, because they would be too powerful that way. But those are my thoughts!

    You would be unable to fly while riding the bat until you equip the bat with an elytra. The elytra will not be visible.
