Cave Mob Idea: Cave Phantoms (Phantom Replacement)

This would be a bat/phantom creature that lives in the new caves and can swoop down and pick you up. This creature could either be a new mob or a rework of the much-hated Phantom. This creature would look like a large bat and would pick you up and drop you onto the Stalagmites. It could also have some kind of home, either a block like bees or a small hive-like structure hanging from the roof.
It doesn't even have to be a new mob it could just be that phantoms live in caves.
