    I agree with you that the warden should have more than 1 attack so it would be a proper mini boss/boss

    So I was thinking that this boss like creature though powerful is pretty easily cheesed (easily beating something by abusing game mechanics ). and that is building a three block high tower then hitting it a few times till it dies.

     

    my suggestion is giving it a three block jump with a semi short cool down!

    I just really want everyone to get a terrifyingly fun experience!

    Give them a list of abilities that would be randomly chosen for each Warden. Not every Warden will have all the abilities that are possible, but each Warden will have its own skill set.

    Naturally, players won't know what this or that Warden can do. Even if they get away from a Warden one time and it despawns, they can't ever be sure their previous tactic will save them the next time. Each Warden will be unique.

    Here's some ideas for for what all Wardens might have the ability to do:

    * It could jump as high as a Goat

    * It could climb blocks like a Spider

    * It could teleport like a Enderman

    * It could turn Invisible like a Wander Trader + Invisibility Potion

    * It could crawl through a one-block gap like a Baby Zombie

    * It could move fast like a Baby Zombie

    * It could float to the ground like a Chicken

    * If you hit it with a fishing rod, it will pull *you* in

    * It could attack the player with a Blindness effect (that's in addition to the pulsating darkness)

    * It could radiate an Aura of Anti-Magic (none of your enchantments work while you're within range, and you can't use or throw potions) (Totem of Undying still works though)

    * It could radiate an Aura of Anti-Placement—this needs a better name (you can't place any new blocks in the world while you're within range)

    I think it would be really cool if there was a second angrier phase that activates after 5 mins of its spawn that would make it able to sprint. Imagine the fear of running away from that creature.
