Lightning rods and redstone

  The new lightning rod coming to Minecraft in the 2021 summer Cave & Cliffs update could emit an electrical signal, when struck by lightning, that can be converted into a redstone signal. It could also be reversed to make lightning as an effect in maps and builds or be used as a defense mechanism or trap along with the copper being electric and dealing damage. It could possibly travel long distances to be then turned into red signal so it could be used as a long distance conduit that can be also incredibly fast.

 The converting electricity to redstone and vice verca could be done with a special block or something like that, the electricity after many repeated hits and currents could break the redstone circuit by having it burn out for some time, but could be fixed by adding a circuit breaker block or something similar to stop it from surges.

  These are just my ideas, these can be expanded upon. I'd like to see what other people think of and hope that this can be added as an actual feature, if you agree please vote! Thank you for reading!

    I don't think there should be any special "conversion", just a lightning rod getting struck should emit a redstone pulse.

    Yeah, I think it should just emit a red stone signal also @TheRedRazor5112. I do think eventually it would be awesome to have a reverse rod like you said @DJCarrotKing A... Tesla coil of sorts. That other form of wireless energy was a great idea.

    We could also possibly do other things with redstone and copper. Just imagine copper wires that we could stack up and around, that could conduct better than regular redstone or move through the water.

    I want to stick a tuning fork on top of the lighting rod. That Tuning fork when struck would activate a sculker sensor far away. That is tuned for it. If not something light that, it being a one time range boost to a redstone line would be cool. Like maybe it could travel 100 red stone blocks.
