    I don't think there should be any special "conversion", just a lightning rod getting struck should emit a redstone pulse.

    Yeah, I think it should just emit a red stone signal also @TheRedRazor5112. I do think eventually it would be awesome to have a reverse rod like you said @DJCarrotKing A... Tesla coil of sorts. That other form of wireless energy was a great idea.

    We could also possibly do other things with redstone and copper. Just imagine copper wires that we could stack up and around, that could conduct better than regular redstone or move through the water.

    I want to stick a tuning fork on top of the lighting rod. That Tuning fork when struck would activate a sculker sensor far away. That is tuned for it. If not something light that, it being a one time range boost to a redstone line would be cool. Like maybe it could travel 100 red stone blocks.
