Leads that attach to armor stands

In many creative worlds and servers, armor stands are used to place items on the ground, have interactive moving objects, and more. 

in many survival worlds, and in vanilla creative, a technique of placing fences that attach leads to animals is used to make realistic looking ropes. 

I suggest we merge these two things by making leads attachable to any entity, or specifically armor stands. I think it would work best as some sort of command or possibly even similar to a block state changeable with a debug stick.

I am a builder on a server where we don't have mobs, but we do have armor stands and it would be a very useful addition.

    I would love this. I wanted to build a Halloween minecart ride in survival, and wanted to get skeletons falling from the ceiling.
    I would use armor stands, with grey armor hanging from a lead, and use a piston to remove a block holding the armor stand in the ceiling and it would fall while the minecart was going under.

    It was a great idea in my head, but then I realised armor stands couldn't be attached with leads... Would love to see this added to the game! :)

    This would be great with the new update coming out soon! It would be incredibly useful
