Mojang doesn’t want to give a real life creature a bad reputation, so I feel like poison is a good move since poison doesn’t kill, but they should also highlight that jellyfish are dangerous so maybe make a more fictional variant possibly with black dots for eyes showing it’s fictional, that does kill by paralyzing until they die along with giving the player and poisoning with poison II them, letting them drown since some jellyfish in real life induce shock after a sting. Speaking of variants, I feel like there should be different types of jellyfish, small ones like the moon jelly, and big ones like lion’s mane are the mostly harmless; the sun jellies are the turtles favorite and the sea nettles has poison I , and fictional one is the only that kills. Also maybe you can tame (sort of) a turtle with the tentacles, making them only stay in a 96 block area in the surrounding ocean. The tentacles should also give poison for 10 or 5 minutes to a day (Minecraft day) and deal 2 health (1 heart) but wearing a turtle shell would make you immune so would the ‘Potion of the Turtle Master’ Additionally, I think you shouldn’t be able to craft suspicious stew, since it’s exclusive to flowers, but the potion makes sense.
