Re-gifting items

there is no way to show your friends your gear. so i gifted my friend my armor so he could see what im using so he knows what to look for when grinding for loot. turns out items can not be re-gifted. now i have no armor. Ive had that armor for ~4 months. the expansion came out 2 days ago. now its gone because silly me trusted a new feature added to the game. i don't understand why on earth we are allowed to gift items, but not gift them back. what possible advantage could be gained from re-gifting items. especially back to the original owner. what a waste. in a game with no public games, no in game chat, no trading, and no sharing items. what is the point of even having multiplayer as an option. PLEASE REMOVE THE NO RE-GIFTING ITEMS LOCK. this is basically a single player game, but i get to watch my friend play single player on my screen without talking to him or interacting with him in any meaningful way.

  Actually you aren't able to re-gift items. Tested it with a friend.

  I agree that not beibng able to gift items back is dumb. There is not advantage to being able to gift items back because the item power would scale with your power level. I hope Mojang changes this.
