Ethical farming practises

I get that its a game but I find it unfair that farming in Minecraft is not ethical {meaning not up to todays standed} for EG chickens getting locked up and their eggs getting collected by flowing water. I would find the game more enjoyable (if thats possible :) ) so maybe you guys could add some more blocks to make the animals more happy? and i don't mean zombies and that stuff. thank you guys so much!
