    the /Attribute command in 1.16 takes care of that.

    You can do something of this sort by using the health boost effect just do /effect @s health_boost 100000 4 true. This will give you a second row of hearts doubling your health until you die. For every amplifier of health boost it increases by 2 hearts 0 is included I use this very frequently in order to create boss fights and co-op survival games.

    On bedrock you can do /effect @p health_boost power time

    I see all of these people over here saying "oh, attribute solves that", BUT FOR BEDROCK EDITION!!!! I have been scrolling through google for like 3 hours searching for a datapack or anything that does this for minecraft bedrock, you java players have it so easy with commands, I CAN EVEN GIVE SOMEONE A BLUE LEATHER CHESTPLATE WITH COMMANDS!!! The most simple things are so hard for us and there is literally NO ANSWER!!!!

    on bedrock you can go up in health but not down
