I would like to suggest a new type of command block with the following functionality.
A basic for loop. It would be like a middle ground from the repeating command block and the inputs command block.
This would require adding an nbt data tag for the position of the loop and when the command triggers it increases this data tag by one. Inside of its GUI, it would also have the maximum value for the position (let's call it i).
Once power is removed from the command block i is set back to 0 allowing for it to loop back again.
This can be achieved dynamically with about 4 command blocks and a scoreboard, or with use of a compaitor and a Redstone counter. Personally I believe that this feature is important enough for coding that it is worth the time to add it to command blocks as a means to educate younger players who do not own the education edition about how a for loop works.
To the employee who reads this thank you for your time and have a blessed day :> also if this is in the wrong category if there is a way to contact me please let me know and I will change it.
