Cats can be cuter.

Here me out.

 

Finding a well in the desert is a 1/1000 chance per chunk. They have no purpose. They have to reason. They are perfect.

 

Conclusion?

1/1000 chance per chunk you find a cat stuck in a tree in a forest. 

(This actually does have a use as cats are hard to tame lol so if they were stuck in a tree you could give it fish while it was too scared to jump down and then make a safer way for it to get down once it's tamed or just let it teleport to you)
