Version texture slider

I am making a world in survival, and I am wanting it to feel as nostalgic as possible, so I downloaded the old textures from the marketplace. It is a good pack, but it isn’t quite nostalgic enough. So I thought that it would be good if there was a slider in video settings that could change the version, not literally, just the textures from that version. For example; if I wanted textures from Alpha, then I could change the slider to Alpha.

Another idea linking onto this one is that when you have selected the version, you could pick which blocks you want and which you don’t want in the textures.

This could be taken a step further by once the player has selected a block they wanted, it could show all the different textures of that block, like between normal grass and neon grass.

I really like this idea, and would love to see it in-game!
