Use of term "souls"

Thank you very much for the endlessly creative fun that my sons have had playing Minecraft! They recently began playing Minecraft Dungeons and are having a great time. I wanted to share some feedback about the use of the term "souls." As Catholics, we hold that term very dear; it expresses our innermost selves, our spiritual nature created by God. Would you please consider changing to a less religious term, such as "power," "energy," or "experience points/orbs"? Thank you so much for your time and your work!

    I do not mean to insult you or your religion but I am atheist. I highly doubt the Mojang team will put this idea into action because it would involve them in religion. I am not religious but I do find religion interest but I have also noticed that tweaking a business or game to suit a particular religion is a really bad idea. Other religions get offended lawsuits get placed and the business is shut down. Once again I am sorry if I have offended you in any way.

    the only other word that they could use that makes sense would be spirits but i think that would be even worst
