Being able to make it snow

You should be able to make it snow in a cold biome by typing: /weather snow. It would be so usefull to beable to make it snow as and when you need.

    I agree. I always have to fly to get to a snowy mountain; I will try making it snow in a village!

    if its cold enough you can do /weather rain and it will snow

    already exists: /weather rain when the location is high enough / in a cold biome.

    your implementation would require rewriting snow entirely since snow right now is just rain with a different texture

    Obviously /weather rain works, but when you're in a snowy biome trying to make it snow, /weather rain feels weird. Doing /weather snow could just say "Set the weather to snow" and then run the rain command. You could also do something similar in desert/badlands biomes, /weather overcast. Maybe the suggested commands that show up can vary in what biome you're in, so if you're in a snowy taiga, and start typing /weather, rain and overcast won't appear, but snow will. If you use rain or overcast, it'll still work, but just a little quality of life feature.
