A clipboard could be a smart way to directly assign villagers to job blocks and beds. I created a village near my home base with specific houses for specific jobs. I have thousands of job blocks around my base as well as beds, so getting the villager to choose the correct bed and block is nearly impossible. It will auto choose a block on the other side of my base despite being directly next to the one I give them. A clipboard could be used like an invisible lead where you click on the villager to “attach” to them, then click on the specific block or bed to “connect” them, even if that block is already taken (cause you the boss.) Made using a wooden slab, paper, ink and a feather. The villagers could also follow you like an actual lead since you are about to command them to a job or bed. Would only work on job blocks for villagers who haven’t already traded. Also I personally think villager behaviors should be upgraded, pathfinding is sometimes screwy and they switch beds/houses for no reason after I 100% know they are supposed to be in a specific house and bed. Being able to manually connect a villager to a specific block and bed will help the player avoid breaking every single bed and job block in their base, so hopefully no one else has to go through that grueling process with these spazzy big nose squidward looking dudes. Thanks I hope you like the idea!
