In Minecraft Dungeons, in the soggy swamp, your main quest is to destroy a large witch village who is helping the arch-illager. I think this would be a great idea for regular Minecraft as well. A witch coven would include the witch huts seen in Minecraft Dungeons, and each hut would be connected to the others with stilted bridges of spruce slabs. The center of the coven would have a cauldron hanging over a fire with a poison potion, speed potion, harming potion, water breathing potion, healing potion, or fire resistance potion inside.
The witches at this coven would be neutral, and you could trade with them for potions, enchanted books, lapis, ingredients, and maybe even lodestones and enchanting tables at max trading level. If you were to attack a witch, they would all become hostile towards you until they kill you. If you empty the cauldron at the center, they all attack you.
Possible Trading Items
Any potion that witches use, lodestone, any enchanted book, nether spawn anchor, enchanting table, cauldron, any potion ingredient, gold ingots, gold nuggets, glowstone, diamond, lapis, empty bottle, zombie/skeleton spawn egg, warped/crimson fungus, red and brown mushroom, death cap mushroom, Minecraft Dungeons artifacts.
