The Darkness

The Darkness is a mob that helps other mobs out. The Darkness will go around next to your light sources such as torches,lanterns, and glow stone, and cast/throw a darkness spell/potion. The spell/potion would cancel out the light sources in about a 10 block radius for a couple minutes allowing mobs to spawn in those areas. Another thing The Darkness could do is that any mob that spawns in its spell/potion is slightly buffed.

    This is cool but maybe it could be a very rare spawn and have some sort of expensive counter spell/potion.

    it should spawn near bedrock like a void fog mob that gets darker and bigger when you kill mobs in it because it absorbs the smoke or dust mobs make after dying.
