Dwellers

I feel that it's very hard to get to the stronghold but it's not very well defended so I came up with the idea for a new mob to defend it. This creature would resemble an Enderman but it would have glowing purple hands and a be slightly shorter still having long arms. This creature when you're in it's sight what run extremely fast in your direction slicing into you with the claws. It can be found roaming around the stronghold opening chests and doors. This creature will move around making groaning noises and sometimes will sing creepily. I feel like since the strongholds are kind of supposed to be creepy but there's no reason they shouldn't be this will give people a reason to avoid the strongholds and come prepared.
