Pinning the slot in Creative!

Very infuriating moments when when building in Creative mode, you need to quickly clear your inventory of unnecessary blocks, but leave some for further use.Unfortunately, the "Cross" button for clearing the inventory does not take into account your desire... I would like to be able to press a combination of one of the keyboard keys with the left mouse button and pin the slot in such a way that it is impossible to interact with either the player or 'clearing' until this key combination is pressed again.
