A mining based mob

I think a new mechanic for Minecraft is to find a mob that.can track the player underground,tunnel its way towards the player through the earth and attack them. please suggest your own I ideas on how this new mob should behave and look I think It should look similar to a Magma cube and burn through blocks to get to the player

    I'm thinking of maybe a ghost of a miner type of mob that only spawns in mineshafts.

    I like it. I would suggest that it be afraid of redstone, as a fun mechanic,  and to avoid it breaking things.
