Piglin Wardens would make the bastions more of a challenge. Wardens would spawn in the bastion after you have angered a piglin in that building. Wardens would do more damage and have more health than a piglin. Wardens would be coded with a reinforcement feature that would spawn in piglins. If you then leave the bastion without destroying the Warden you get a negative effect similar to bad omen (pillagers) for 10 - 15 minutes. This would agro all piglins, everywhere for the specified duration. Gold armor would not deter them. Wardens would have rare random drops that could include damaged netherite tools or enchanted gold armor. Example would be "strider boots" that allow you to walk on lava without damage. The warden could be 2 blocks tall, faster than piglins, mobile, better pathfinding or larger agro range, wearing complete gold armor. Warden despawns after the bad omen effect subsides.
