Many of the minecraft streams / series that I watch feature villager trading halls. I didn't like the idea of manhandling a horde of villagers into some sort of mall / jail fusion, so I tried to create an organic, "realistic" village.
(Just a side note: villagers really are quite unruly, they kept swapping beds and work stations, impossible to keep track of who's working where.)
Needless to say my wandering flash mob of librarians milling around a mulit story library soon became unmanageable.
Seriously, I had 20 - 30 librarians and I'm sure others have had to deal with larger crowds.
The idea I would like to suggest it that the list of villager trades refreshes every now and then. That way I wouldn't need a librarian for every enchantment.
This could be:
Every three trades you exhaust gives a chance to refresh the whole list.
If you exhaust a trade it has a chance to be replaced by another one.
A small daily chance of a trade list refresh.
I like the first two best as they still provide an incentive to carry out varied trading with the villagers.
Thank-you for your time!
