Personally, I often find myself looking for a mob that walks away. Either because I am working on a farm that spawns mobs, for example, an iron farm, or I just haven't kept a close eye on a villager and it seems to have walked away. Well, I suggest that there could be a /locateentity command that will locate the nearest mob of that type. You can also specify the name of that mob if you want to track a specific villager, or piglin, or iron golem. I think that this would definitely come in handy for map makers, as well as people who make a lot of machines, and redstone contraptions. If you had an iron farm and no iron golems are spawning because one managed to escape the farm and is continually counting towards the golem count, you can use /locateentity to find it and remove it to keep things running smooth. Or this can even come handy in day to day playing. If you are mining and you hear zombies nearby but aren't sure where, this command might just save your life! I think you get the point of this, and I know this would likely be a very technical thing to add to the game, but I think it would make map making and testing worlds, and all things in between more enjoyable, and less frustrating! :)
