Abandoned Cave Rails

Hello Mojang, 

I think a great feature to add to the cave update (that I assume you'll add sooner or later), is an abandoned cave rail. Or rather, multiple abandoned cave rail systems. I think it would be awesome if there were wooden platforms with rails on them but no one to ride them. These platforms can be spirals, straight lines, steep dips, or a mix of all of them. 

Of course, as these systems are abandoned, they would naturally have some cobwebs on them, be missing some torches and redstone torches to power the few powered rails, and would even have missing block gaps between them. This would force the player to search for or craft the needed items to fill in the gaps, get rid of the cobwebs, and place some more torches. This would also open the way to faster travel around what I assume will probably be a much bigger cave system. There could be a pre-placed minecart or you might need to place your own.
