When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Glass-Encased Redstone

The idea is that you can take one glass and one redstone in a formless crafting recipe and make a glass block with redstone inside. You can also make repeaters and comparators in their own glass encased recipes. You can use it to make redstone signals underwater and vertically (in addition to horizontal), but repeaters and comparators CANNOT receive vertical signals. When broken WITHOUT a silk touch enchantment, the block will drop whatever the encased material is.

    They should also be push able by pistons.

    This would make redstone builds so compact because it would be able to float it the glass.
