Piglins should not barter water bottles due to logic

Water is too hot to be in the nether. Plus where did the Piglins even get the water to put in the bottle anyway?｢(ﾟﾍﾟ)

    he piglins is humans mixed with pigs in the nether so they have water bottles on them when they go to the nether

    The piglins get the iron nuggets from chests in bastion remnants. They also get ingots in both bastions and nether fortresses. The two structures were most likely not built by them {in the lore of the game}. They may have learned how to make potions and other materials from an ancient civilization that was in the nether before the player character. They probably took their stuff from the fortress and bastions when they disappeared and claimed the bastions for themselves. The four bartering items that don't make sense are the both types of fire resistance potions since there is no way to get glass in the nether to make the bottles, the water bottles because of the glass and water, and the enchanted book since you can't get paper in the nether to make the book. Plus a water bottle isn't really worth a gold ingot anyway.

    I think it makes sense that they are keeping a liquid unknown to the piglins in bottles for safe keeping, sort of how we save moon rocks and stuff.

    maby the reason for portal ruins and zombified piglins is because they went to the overworld
