Many times while playing minecraft dungeons, I'll get snagged on the landscape. A few times I can wiggle out and go on, but most of the time I can't and have to return to camp losing all progress. It can be very frustrating if I've almost finished a mission. Once I got snagged on a tree in the camp and had to exit the game.
I'm coining a term "zone" which is a subsection of a mission where you either start at or enter by going through a door. My solution for the snagging problem is to have a button on the screen where you can pop back to the beginning of the current zone (either map start, or just within the door you entered the subsection through). Map progress and arrow count is retained as it's still the same mission.
This is close to a deal breaker for a player to lose a mission not due to running out of lives, but just being hung up on on the map architecture.
