If you want to propose a change to an existing structure (like villages), or add something brand new in a current dimension or biome, this is the place.

    Agreed.

    This may be the cause of the problem (idk though, I am not a game dev):

    First, biome-making is done, then various terrain generation, including lava sources and pools a bit afterwards. Structures, like the woodland mansion, are generated last.

    Fixing this may be done as following (again, take this with a grain of salt; I am not a game dev):

    Do the biome-making and terrain generation first, as usual, but temporarily omit lava source and pool generation. Instead, generate structures. Lava pools should avoid woodland mansions for about 500 blocks, due to the flammability of not only it, but the surrounding biome. Other mostly flammable structures include witch huts, pillager outposts, and villages. Lava should avoid those too, but not as much (50 for witch huts, 100 for outpost, and maybe 150 for villages). These numbers do not have to be followed exactly, but should rather serve as guidelines.
