There needs to be something in the game other than just playing through the campaign. I finished the mainland campaign in 3 days from the first difficulty to the hardest. Now when the Jungle Awakens DLC came out I finished it in no more than 2-3 hours.
So now I'm thinking to myself, "now what? Do I just wait for the next DLC again?".
I've spent sometime farming for some specific gear but I don't even need to.. I used the same gear I had from the mainland play through and easily completed the DLC content on the hardest difficulty. So essentially I only farmed gear because there's nothing else to do and now I'm also at the point where my gear can't really get any better as well..
Suggestion: Rift System
If there was some sort of level rift system whether it's solo or co-op it would add a lot more depth to the game. Rifts would be entering an area with mobs and bosses to defeat to progress into the next rift. They could be time based or not. Each rift as you would progress into the next would get more difficult. There would be leader boards for both solo and co-op and for each different type of rift: timed rifts, highest rift level achieved, or both. At the end of each rift a boss or multiple would need to be killed in order to proceed. With addition to rifts there could be new gear, bosses, puzzles, enchantments, buffs, de-buffs, mobs, music tracks etc.There could also be a new currency earned from completing rifts with a reward shop/merchant for gear upgrades, gear transmogs etc
