The First Ones are a mirror to our players, an incredibly older race still attempting to survive. This mod would mine blocks (in caves, or on mountains) and hunt for food in all sorts of biomes, run from hostile mods and trade with villagers. They would generally ignore the player(s) unless we entered within 100 blocks of them. Then, they would stalk any player or players, mimicking their actions and occasionally stealing the items stored in nearby chests, furnaces or on stands, but when attacked they would make a speedy retreat. In addition, the skin of these beings would be a mirror of which ever player they lock on within the radius. If there are multiple players they may take the skin of the one locked on, but only stalk the closest one. This character fits in to the lore of a past race of builders wiped by monsters and time, and can be especially interesting in a multiplayer world. Imagine mining with your friends, each of you splitting off into different caves systems and then finding one of those ‘friends’ 15 blocks away mining with you. Granted, only when you see then approach your furnace and attempt to chat with them, will you realize that the person with your friend’s gamertag and skin may not actually be your friend.
