Farmable diamonds

Every player need diamonds, but it's just too hard to find them. What if we could farm them. I am not asking for any OP Diamond farm, but I think it would be nice to have a new mob that have a small chance of dropping a diamond. It could spawn in a new dungeon. Today we can farm gold in nether, iron by using villagers and even charcoal by smelting logs. But there is the End dimension. The dungeons that diamond mob spawns in can be in End. It will of course be very rare but possible. I would love to see this feature in Minecraft. Hope you too.
