Cave Update Olms (Blind Salamander)

With the demand for a cave update at such a high level, and mining being such an integral part of the game, it’s almost sure to happen. I think that olms would be a great addition for this eventual update. These cave dwelling salamanders are blind, and live in some European caves. In Minecraft, olms would spawn beneath temperate biomes in water below level 30, being about ½ a block long, and passive.

    I actually had this idea myself on the same day you posted yours. how strange...….

    Mabey they could drop slimeballs or some sort of new item. They would be a great addition to Minecraft, and they go along perfectly with my subterranean lakes idea. please check out my blind catfish idea.

    Yup, 1.17 is the cave update. :) I think Olms should be longer as well because in real live they are very long and slender. They are similar to axolotls but are much longer, slimmer, blind, and live much deeper underground.

    They should be so rare that you will most likely never find them, but they have something special to them. What that "special" quirk is- I don't know. 😐
