change username inside Minecraft java launcher

Dear devs, I have changed my username many times in the past because I just wasn't satisfied with the present username, and I find it quite a hassle to go to the mojang site and then changing our username. It's just more convenient changing it directly in the java launcher like skins. Add like a 'change username' option in the launcher screen so that when we click it it directly just asks us to change the username without going to the mojang site. And I would find this very convenient because I have tried to change my username in the mojang site a few times and I find it quite irritating.   While it would be a good quality of life change, you would still have to do a Captcha, as many bad actors are using server bots to take names as soon as they are available from people. They are making money off of this. This would only make it easier for them.

  A benefit would be that it would hide the API from the bad actors if they remove it from the Mojang website;having to go through the launcher instead of the website would still be ergonomic to the average user who just wants to change their username.
