You should be able to use the /fill command with dark prismarine.

I do not see an option to use dark prismarine and I would love to use it for my greater scale creative projects.

    There is what’s called a data value, and if you do /fill ~10 ~10 ~10 ~-10 ~-10 ~-10 prismarine 2, it would be a different kind of prismarine, like dark prismarine. The data values for any specific block are on the wiki, and you can use the fill command with dark prismarine/a different color of wool/blocks with rotations.
