When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Sandstone pressure plate

Gives a 3 tick pulse, then it breaks. kind like a one off thing.  I also think that if the community just wants a regular button and pressure plate with the texture it would be just fine, maybe wax it togethers so the button and pressure plate hold together, but I figure why not also give it a unique use than just another redundant building feature.

    I would love a sandstone pressure plate and button, but I don’t like that it breaks. Even though that is a very cool Redstone concept, it would be used a lot in building. If it broke when someone walked on the plate or pressed a button, it would make the item not good for building.

    I feel like the redstone community would love this idea! Have you considered moving your post to their category? It seems like something they might appreciate, but that might be difficult to find in a crowded section like blocks, tools, and items.
