Animated items (for resource pack creators)

Flipbook animations for items in MCBE. The flipbook animations for blocks like fire, nether portals, prismarine, ect. Are all able to be changed and new block animations can be added for other blocks in the flipbook textures file in resource packs. So i feel like it should work with items too. java editon can do it, so why cant we? It should work just like implementing the flipbook textures for blocks.

    It requires the optifine mod, good idea but not very often mojang implement mods to vanilla

    The reason they probably haven't put this in java is that there is Optifine which adds support. On bedrock, the only way we could achieve this is if they added this feature so I think this has a chance to be added if more people want it.

    Flipbook textures for ALL textures would be cool.
