Teleporter artifact

By now a lot of us have experienced a crossroad. A part of the dungeon that has more than one pathway. One pathway leads to the objective, and the others lead to secrets, dead ends, etc. It would be cool if we had a Teleporter artifact. Something that we could place at a crossroad.

Some dead ends are longer than others. A Teleporter would make it so that we wouldn't have to walk back through the dead ends we just cleared. We can already teleport to friends. Why not have an artifact that we can place down and teleport to?
