Minecraft Java & Minecraft Bedrock are 2 different games. There isn't any good reason to parity them up so they are the same. If you are going to do that, then why not make the game crossplay between Java & Bedrock. Because it doesn't make sense. Currently, I appreciate the simplicity of Bedrocks lack of Java feature, because it makes me purely focused on playing with friends rather than messing with missing bedrock features, such as custom heads, etc.
The truth is they are completely different games and if you want Java features, you should get Java Edition. If you want Bedrock features, you should get bedrock features. But I personally paid good money for both editions, and I will feel like I deserve a refund if you choose to make the games the same...
