Great idea. I am looking for basically the same thing today, family has been playing every version since 1.6.5 beta and has hundreds of worlds we'd love to import to the latest versions on java server for nostalgia, even if it takes some manual effort.

To add to your post, I discovered via internet searches it WAS possible to specify the dimension seed up until 1.19 using a setting within a "data pack dimension definition", but sadly that feature allowing specifying seeds has been removed based on what I am reading on the internet.  Also not sure if it supports copying the world data into that dimension or not...

Regardless, it would have been super useful to have the abilities to:
    1) import a previous playthrough's world dimensions as dimensions in another world, and create a way to travel to them (data pack might be capable of this?), and then
2)set the seed for the imported dimensions to the original other seed if the other world used the same/similar world generator.  Otherwise, choosing whether to make it a void world or use whichever worldgen current MC version supports for new chunks would also make me happy enough.
