Let Villagers, Illagers and Piglins use Shields(because they are humanoids)

Well, those 3 species are intelligent: Villagers are pacifist, and with shields they only defend themselves, but cannot attack.
Illagers would use them rarely, because they like more strong attacks. And piglins because they need them to survive ghast fireballs, hoglin, blaze and wither skeleton attacks.

¿What do you think? My opinion could be also upgraded and improved, so comment here please.

    I forgot to say: There are other mobs that could wear shields, and sometimes use them. Those are:

    - Zombies (Villagers,Husks,Drowneds,Piglins,Normal) (They could use them, but not frequently)

    - Skeletons (Wither,Stray,Normal) (They could use them, more frequently than zombies, and normal skeletons with shields would be melee attackers)

    - Witches (Only wear, but not use)

    Well, those are the other mobs that could use shields. Note: this is optional, but they should have shields too.

    Why do witches have shields but don’t use them? Should evokers then?

    Witches are a complex case. They can heal themselves, for that reason they could simply wear them to be similar to the other mobs, but cannot use.
    Evokers truly don't need them so much. But for illagers like Vindicators or Pillagers, shields could give them some sort of advantage.
    Villagers need them because they don't have a great AI, and also they are weak to zombies or illagers on spaces where Iron Golems cannot pass. 
    Well, those are some ideas. Please comment here to improve them.

    Also, currently a villager can wear a shield, but can't use it. 
    How? With dispensers, having their inventory full first.

    So Mojang, maybe they couldn't spawn with they, but at least let Villagers use them.

    Skeletons that spawn with shields should be able to use them freely, though it should be rare, and zombies shouldn't be able to use them at all.

    This would give a lot of longevity to the villagers, and make the pillagers even harder to deal with! I like this idea!
